Parking
There is public street parking on 1400 S and along the side streets. Please be sure to observe traffic laws while parking.
Additionally, there is private parking for two (2) cars in the back of the house via an alleyway accessible from Browning Ave or Roosevelt Ave.
House Rules
- No smoking or vaping of ANY kind
- No large parties
- Quiet time after 10pm
- Pets are allowed with approval (and subject to additional fees)

Who’s wandering around the property???
Our wonderful maintenance man, Billy, swings by Monday evenings to put the trash bins out on the street and Tuesday morning to bring them back.
Help! we’re out of Hot Water!!!!
While we’ve worked hard to make The Canopy a modern and tech savvy oasis, it still is nearly 100 years old! If multiple people take baths/showers at the same time, the hot water heater can sometimes take up to an hour to replenish.

One of the best bakeries in SLC. Pro tip: stop by after 11am for one of their amazing sandwiches.

This is a massive bookstore. If you like used and rare books, it’s a great place to explore. Pro tip: the rare books are upstairs.
